JEFFERSON CITY
I've been through Jefferson City twice, in 2013 and 2015. All of my pictures here were taken on June 18th, 2015. All I brought with me was my old Canon A4000, so the pictures are low in quality and quantity. There's nothing too interesting here, just a lot of incandescent poly lights (many of which were converted to LED a year later). Many of the intersections are numbered through signs hanging on the spanwires.
Old Andrew Johnson Hwy & Branner Ave
This intersection has 7 T-Con and 1 Crouse-Hinds type R incandescent 12" signals in a box spanwire setup. The lenses are all AKT polys. The east- and west-facing T-Con heads have fading louvered backplates, while the north- and south-facing signals have nothing. The type R was installed as a replacement sometime during the 5 years before 2013. This intersection is not numbered, and unlike most of the other signals in town, remains incandescent as of 2018.
If you look at the spanwire poles, you'll notice that they all have streetlight kits on top, including truss brackets at the top — but for some reason, they are lacking the streetlights themselves. Odd. In addition, a strange pavement marking was found near this intersection. Though it's somewhat difficult to make out due to it being small and all-white, it appears to be a no pedestrian symbol stenciled onto the roadway with an arrow pointing to the sidewalk. Maybe it's an attempt to prevent jaywalking, but I doubt anyone even notices it.

Various Intersections
Here are various random pictures taken around town. The first signal is at Old Andrew Johnson Hwy & Russell Ave, a nearly identical incandescent T-Con intersection with missing streetlights as the one photographed above. The stop sign with the 3-way plaque attached to its face was at Branner Ave & Kent Parks Way, but is gone now. The last, poor-quality image is of an unknown intersection, showing an offset doghouse with a piecemeal louvered backplate used side-by-side with a regular doghouse.
